Run a server node

Have PHP hosting? Install a node on your domain, subdomain or folder to help carry chat traffic.

  1. Download the node package and extract it on your hosting.
  2. Open your site address — the node setup page appears.
  3. The token is filled in automatically — send the join request.
  4. Wait for admin approval. The setup page updates by itself.

Works on cPanel, CWP, DirectAdmin, Plesk, aaPanel and similar. Needs PHP 8.0+, extensions pdo_sqlite, sodium, curl, zip, and HTTPS.

What does a node do?
  • Nodes cannot read chats. All messages are end-to-end encrypted; a node only relays random-looking data and deletes it within seconds.
  • Nodes have no admin access. Cluster settings and updates are controlled by the admin server and digitally signed.
  • Admin approval. A node becomes active only after approval, and can be disabled or removed at any time.
  • Automatic updates. Nodes receive new versions from the cluster without re-uploading.
